40 – Muhammad ibn Idris narrated to me; Khalid ibn Khidash reported to us; Hammad ibn Zayd told us, from ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUmar al-Taghlibi, from Yunus ibn ʿUbayd, who said:

A man asked Abu Tamimah, “How are you this morning?”

He replied, “I woke up enjoying two blessings, and I do not know which of them is greater: sins that Allah has hidden so that no one can disgrace me for them, and affection that Allah has cast into the hearts of His servants even though my deeds have never deserved it.”
