187 – Al-Qāsim ibn Hāshim narrated to us: Muḥammad ibn Sinān al-ʿAwqī narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar narrated from Suhayl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever sees a person afflicted and says, ‘All praise is for Allah who has kept me safe from that with which He has tried you, and who has favored me over you and over all of His creation with an abundant favor,’ has thereby discharged the thanks due for that blessing.”
