183 – Muḥammad ibn Idrīs narrated to me; Rūḥ ibn ʿAbd al-Wāḥid al-Ḥarrānī narrated to us; Ibn al-Sammāk narrated from Muqātil ibn Ḥayyān regarding the verse, “He has lavished His blessings upon you, both visible and hidden” (Luqmān 20). He said, “The visible blessing is Islam, and the hidden blessing is His covering you despite your sins.”
