171 – Al-Faḍl ibn Sahl narrated to us; ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿImāra narrated to us; Makhrama ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from his father, from Zuhra ibn Maʿbad, from Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ḥubulī, from Abū Ayyūb, that the Prophet ﷺ, whenever he ate, would say:

“All praise belongs to Allah who has provided food and drink, enabled it to pass smoothly, and appointed an exit for it.”
