Al-ShukrIbn Abi al-Dunya

170 – Muḥammad ibn Idrīs al-Ḥanẓalī narrated to us; Bishr ibn Muḥammad al-Wāsiṭī narrated to us; Khālid ibn Maḥdūj, Abū Rūḥ, narrated to us; from Anas ibn Mālik, who said:

Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate, he would say:

“Praise be to Allah who has fed me, given me drink, guided me, and blessed me with every good favor. Praise be to Allah—the Provider, Possessor of steadfast might. O Allah, do not strip from us the good You have granted us, nor the good You have provided; and make us among those who are grateful to You.”
