166 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me; ʿAbd Allah ibn Maslamah and Ibn Abi Uways narrated to us; Sulayman ibn Bilal narrated to us, from Rabiʿah ibn Abi ʿAbd al-Rahman, from ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAnbasah, from Ibn Ghannam, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“Whoever, on entering the morning, says: ‘O Allah, whatever blessing has dawned upon me or upon any of Your creation is from You alone; You have no partner. So to You belong all praise and to You belong all thanks,’ has thereby fulfilled the gratitude due for that day.”
