161 – Abū ʿAbdallāh Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ ibn Khalaf al-Taymī narrated to us; Abū Yūsuf al-Aʿshā narrated, from Sufyān, who said:
Whenever al-Ḥasan sat in an assembly he would say:
“O Allah, all praise is Yours for Islam; all praise is Yours for the Quran; and all praise is Yours for family and for wealth. You have expanded our provision, made our security apparent, and perfected our well-being. Our Lord, of everything we have asked of You, You have given us. So to You belongs abundant praise, just as You bestow abundant favor and avert much evil. For Your majestic, everlasting Countenance is the praise. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.”
