140 – He said: It reached me through Abū Khaythamah, from Zuhayr al-Bābī, from Salām ibn Abī Muṭīʿ, who said: “I visited a man who was ill and found him groaning, so I told him, ‘Remember those who lie abandoned on the roadside; remember those who have no shelter and no one to serve them.’ Later I entered upon him again and no longer heard him groaning. Instead, he kept saying, ‘Remember those who lie abandoned on the roadside; remember the one who has no shelter and no one to serve him.’”
