123 – Ahmad ibn Musa al-Thaqafi recited to me:
[Wāfir meter]

How many a place I entered—had I died within its walls,
I would have become a cautionary tale among my clan.

I was protected there from evil and all that I abhorred,
and I went on my way wrapped in a hidden blessing.

And how many a blessing from Allah greets you at nightfall and at dawn,
yet you never realize how great it truly is.
