118 – Abu Bakr ibn Abi al-Nadr narrated to me; Saʿīd ibn ʿĀmir narrated to us, from some of his companions, that Abū Ḥāzim said: “Allah’s favor in what He has kept from me of this world is greater than His favor in what He has granted me of it, for I have seen Him give it to certain people, and they were ruined by it.”
