877 — Al-Firyābī also informed us. He said: Uthmān ibn Abī Shayba informed us. He said: Ubayd Allāh ibn Mūsā narrated to us, from Shaybān, from Yahyā ibn Abī Salama, from Abū Saīd, who reported that the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—used to supplicate with these words: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of Hell, the punishment of the grave, the trial of life and death, and the trial of the Antichrist.”

Muhammad ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—said: The Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—sought refuge from the Antichrist and taught his nation to seek refuge in Allah from the Antichrist’s trial.
