80 — Abū Bakr Muhammad ibn Hārūn ibn al-Mujaddar narrated to us: Ahmad ⦗395⦘ ibn al-Hasan ibn Khirāsh narrated to us: Amr ibn Āsim narrated to us: Muʿtamir narrated to us: I heard my father narrate from al-Alāʾ ibn Abd al-Rahmān, from his father, from Abū Hurayra, from the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: “Hasten to perform good deeds. There will be tribulations like the darkest portions of night: a man will be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever by evening, or a believer in the evening and a disbeliever by morning, selling his religion for some worldly gain.”
