837 — Abū Bakr al-Naysābūrī also narrated to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Mansūr narrated to us, saying: Abū Sālih narrated to us, saying: Ibn Lahīʿa narrated to us, from Abū al-Zubayr, who said: Jābir ibn Abd Allah informed me that he heard the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) say:

“I shall precede you as your forerunner. If you do not see me, I shall be at the Basin. My Basin extends as far as the distance between Ayla and Mecca.”

And he mentioned the hadith.
