829 — Abū Ahmad Hārūn ibn Yūsuf also narrated to us, saying: Ibn Abī ʿUmar narrated to us, saying: Abū ʿAbd al-Samad al-ʿAmmī narrated to us, from Abū ʿImrān al-Jawnī, from ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Sāmit, from Abū Dharr, who said: I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what are the vessels of the Basin like?” He replied: “By Him in Whose hand is Muhammad’s soul, its vessels from Paradise are more numerous than the stars and planets in the sky on a dark, cloudless night. Two channels from Paradise gush into it. Whoever drinks from it will never thirst. Its width equals its length—the distance from Amman to Ayla. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey.”
