824 — Al-Firyābī narrated to us, saying: Safwān ibn Sālih narrated to us: Al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us: Yahyā ibn al-Hārith al-Dhimārī and Shaybah ibn al-Ahnaf al-Awzāʿī narrated to us, saying: We heard Abū Sallām al-Aswad narrate from Thawbān, the freedman of the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—that the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—mentioned his Basin. They asked him, “O Messenger of Allah, who will be the first people to reach it?” He replied, “The poor among the Emigrants: their hair is disheveled, their clothes are soiled, doors are not opened to them, and they do not marry women accustomed to luxury.”
