820 — Abū Bakr Abd Allāh ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Yazīd, Abū Hishām al-Rifāʿī, narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us, saying: Zakariyyā ibn Abī Zāʾida narrated to us, from Atiyya ibn Saʿd, who said: Kaʿb al-Ahbār took al-Abbās by the hand and said, “I am saving this with you for intercession.” Al-Abbās asked, “Will I have the right to intercede?” He replied, “Yes. There is no member of the Prophet’s household—peace and blessings be upon him—who will not be granted the right to intercede on the Day of Resurrection.”
