802 — Al-Firyābī informed us: Wahb ibn Baqiyya al-Wāsitī narrated to us: Khālid—that is, ibn Abd Allah al-Wāsitī—informed us, from Amr ibn Yahyā, from his father, from Abū Saīd al-Khudrī, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: “When the inhabitants of Paradise enter Paradise and the inhabitants of the Fire enter the Fire, Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will say in His mercy, ‘Look for anyone whose heart contains faith equal to a single grain ⦗1234⦘ of mustard seed, and bring him out of the Fire.’” He continued: “They will then be brought out, having turned to charcoal, and cast into a river called the River of Life. They will grow as flood-borne seeds sprout in the sediment carried by a flood—or beside the floodwaters. Have you not seen how they emerge yellow and curled?”
