797 — Ibn Dhurayh informed us: Hannād ibn al-Sarī narrated to us: Ibn Fudayl informed us, from Layth, from Abū Fazārah, from Yazīd ibn al-Asamm, from Ibn Abbās, regarding the words of Allah Most High, “the weight of a speck” [Women 4:40]. He said: Ibn Abbās placed his hand in the dust, then raised it and blew on it. He then said, “Each one of these has the weight of a speck.”
٧٩٧ - أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ ذَرِيحٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ قَالَ: أَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ , عَنْ لَيْثٍ , عَنْ أَبِي فَزَارَةَ , عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ﴾ [النساء: ٤٠] فَقَالَ: أَدْخَلَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَدَهُ فِي التُّرَابِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَهَا ثُمَّ نَفَخَ فِيهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ: «كُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ»
