788 — Abū Shuayb Abd Allah ibn al-Hasan al-Harrānī narrated to us, saying: ⦗1220⦘ Yahyā ibn Ayyūb narrated to us, saying: Ismāīl ibn Jafar narrated to us, saying: Amr ibn Abī Amr informed me, from Saīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayra, who said: I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, who will be most blessed by your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, replied:

“O Abū Hurayra, I had indeed thought that no one would ask me about this hadith before you, because I have seen how eager you are. The person most blessed by my intercession on the Day of Resurrection will be one who says, ‘There is no god but Allah,’ with complete sincerity from within himself.”
