787 — Abū Muhammad Yahyā ibn Muhammad ibn Sāid narrated to us, saying: al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: Abū Muāwiya informed us, saying: al-Amash narrated to us, from Abū Sālih, from Abū Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“Every prophet is granted a supplication that will be answered, and each prophet hastened to use his supplication. I, however, have reserved my supplication as intercession for my community. Allah willing, it will reach whoever dies without associating anything with Allah.”
