751 — And al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Wahb ibn Baqiyya narrated to us, saying: Khālid—that is, ibn Abd Allah al-Wāsitī—informed us, from Muhammad ibn Amr, from Abū Salama, from Abū Hurayra, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“Adam and Moses argued their respective cases. Moses said, ‘Are you Adam, whom Allah, Glorious and Exalted, created with His Hand, breathed into you of His Spirit, settled in Paradise, and commanded the angels to prostrate before you?’” He then related the hadith.
