744 — Abū Muhammad Yahyā ibn Muhammad ibn Sāid narrated to us, saying: Al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us, saying ⦗1173⦘: Ubayd Allah ibn Umar informed us, from Saīd al-Maqburī, from Abū al-Hubāb, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—who said: “No Muslim servant gives charity from wholesome earnings—and Allah accepts only what is wholesome—without Allah, Mighty and Majestic, taking it in His right hand and raising it for him just as one of you raises his foal or his weaned camel calf, until a single date becomes like Mount Uhud.”
