727 — Abū al-Fadl Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sandalī narrated to us, saying: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: Abū Abd al-Rahmān al-Muqri' narrated to us; Haywa ibn Shurayh narrated to us, saying: Abū Hāni' al-Khawlānī narrated to us that he heard Abū Abd al-Rahmān al-Hubulī, who heard Abd Allah ibn Amr say that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) say: “All the hearts of the children of Adam are between two fingers of the Most Merciful, Mighty and Majestic, like a single heart; He directs them however He wills.” The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) then said: “O Allah, Director of hearts, direct my heart toward obedience to You.”

728 — Abū Abd Allah Ja'far ibn Idrīs al-Qazwīnī narrated to us, saying: Yahyā ibn Abdak al-Qazwīnī narrated to us, saying: Abū Abd al-Rahmān al-Muqri' narrated to us and related the same hadith through to its end.
