719 — Ibn Sāʿid, Abū Muhammad, narrated to us, saying: Al-Husayn ibn Hasan al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: Ibn al-Mubārak informed us, saying: Yūnus ibn Yazīd informed us, from Ibn Shihāb, who said: “It has reached us from men among the people of knowledge that they used to say: ‘Holding fast to the Sunnahs is salvation.’”
