64 — Ahmad ibn Yahyā al-Halwānī also narrated to us, saying: Hudba ibn Khālid narrated to us, saying: Hammām narrated to us, saying: Qatāda narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Dabba ibn Mihsan, from Umm Salama, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“You will have rulers over you whose deeds you will recognize as right and others you will disapprove of. Whoever recognizes their wrongdoing will be absolved, and whoever disapproves of it will be safe—but not those who are content with it and follow them.”

They asked, “Should we not fight them?” He replied, “No, not so long as they pray.”
