63 — Abū Jafar Ahmad ibn Yahyā al-Halwānī informed us, saying: Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, saying: Yahyā ibn Saīd narrated to me, from Hishām, who said: al-Hasan narrated to us, from ⦗375⦘ Dabba ibn Mihsan, from Umm Salama, from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:

“You will have rulers over you whose deeds you will recognize as right and others you will disapprove of. Whoever recognizes their wrongdoing will be absolved, and whoever disapproves of it will be safe—but not those who are content with it and follow them.”

They asked, “Should we not fight them?” He replied, “No, not so long as they pray.”
