646 — Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad al-Sandalī narrated to us, saying: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: Abū Hudhayfa Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Karīm al-Sanʿānī narrated to us, saying: Ibrāhīm ibn Aqīl narrated to us, from his father, from Wahb ibn Munabbih, from Jābir, who related that, in the account of the crossing over Hell, the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “Then their Lord—Mighty and Majestic—is He—will reveal Himself to them, laughing.” Jābir said, “I saw the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—laugh until the back of his mouth could be seen.”
