640 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: My paternal uncle and Ishāq ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us; they both said: Hajjāj narrated to us, saying: Hammād—that is, Ibn Salama—narrated to us, from Alī ibn Zayd, from Umāra al-Qurashī, from Abū Burda, from Abū Mūsā al-Asharī, that the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said: “Our Lord—Glorious is His Majesty—will reveal Himself to us laughing on the Day of Resurrection.”
