636 — Abū ‘Abd Allāh Muhammad ibn Makhlad al-‘Attār narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn ‘Arafa informed us, saying: Hushaym ibn Bashīr narrated to us, from Mujālid ibn Sa‘īd, from Abū al-Waddāk, from Abū Sa‘īd al-Khudrī, from the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—who said: “There are three at whom Allah—Mighty and Majestic—will laugh on the Day of Resurrection: a man when he rises at night to pray; a group when they form rows ⦗1056⦘ for prayer; and a group when they form ranks against the enemy.”
