625 — Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Sulaymān al-Marwazī also narrated to us, saying: Abu Tālib Abd al-Jabbār ibn Āsim narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah ibn Ziyād al-Ramlī narrated to me, from Zurah ibn Ibrāhīm, from Nāfi, from Ibn Umar, who said: Tūbā was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—and he said, “O Abu Bakr, have you learned what Tūbā is?” He replied, “Allah—Majestic is His Glory—and His Messenger know best.” He said, “Tūbā is a tree in Paradise whose height is known to none but Allah—Majestic is His Glory. A rider could travel beneath one of its branches for seventy years. Its leaves are robes, and birds resembling Bactrian camels alight upon it.” Abu Bakr al-Siddīq—may Allah be pleased with him—said, “O Messenger of Allah, those birds must indeed live in great comfort!” He replied, “Those who eat them shall enjoy even greater comfort, and you shall be among them, if Allah wills, O Abu Bakr.”
