620 — Abū Ubayd Alī ibn al-Husayn ibn Harb, the judge, informed us, saying: al-Hasan ibn Muhammad al-Zafarānī narrated to us, saying: Shabāba ibn Sawwār narrated to us, saying: Isrā’īl narrated to us, from Thuwayr ibn Abī Fākhita, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said:
“The lowest-ranking inhabitant of Paradise is one who gazes upon his tents, his bliss, and his couches across a distance of a thousand years’ journey ⦗1033⦘; and the most honored of them in the sight of Allah—Mighty and Majestic—is one who gazes upon His Face morning and evening.”
٦٢٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ الْقَاضِي قَالَ: نا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ قَالَ: نا شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ , عَنْ ثُوَيْرِ بْنِ أَبِي فَاخِتَةَ , عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: " إِنَّ ⦗١٠٣٣⦘ أَدْنَى أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلَةً: مَنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى خِيَامِهِ وَنَعِيمِهِ وَسُرُرِهِ مَسِيرَةَ أَلْفِ سَنَةٍ , وَأَكْرَمَهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ﷿ مَنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ ﷿ غُدْوَةً وَعَشِيَّةً "
