605 — Abū al-Fadl Jaʿfar ibn Muhammad al-Sandalī narrated to us, saying: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad al-Marwazī narrated to us ⦗1013⦘. He said: ʿAlī ibn ʿUthmān al-Lāhiqī informed us. He said: Hammād ibn Salama narrated to us. He said: Yaʿlā ibn ʿAtāʾ informed us, from Wakīʿ ibn ʿUdus, from Abū Razīn al-ʿUqaylī, who said: I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, will every one of us see his Lord—glorious is His Majesty—on the Day ⦗1014⦘ of Resurrection?” He replied, “Yes.” I asked, “What sign of that is there in His creation?” He replied, “O Abū Razīn, does not each of you see the moon as though alone with it?” I said, “Indeed.” He replied, “Allah is greater.” He then related the remainder of the hadith.
