604 – Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: Yūnus ibn Habīb narrated to us, saying: Abū Dāwūd al-Tayālisī narrated to us, saying: Hammād ibn Salama narrated to us, from Thābit al-Bunānī, from Abd al-Rahmān ibn Abī Laylā, from Suhayb, that the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said:

“When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, a caller will proclaim, ‘O people of Paradise! You have an appointment with Allah Most High.’

“They will ask, ‘What is it? Has He not brightened our faces, made our scales heavy, and admitted us into Paradise?’

“Then it will be said, ‘You have an appointment with Allah.’ He said, ‘Then He will reveal Himself to them, and they will gaze upon Him.’”
