601 — Ibn Abī Dāwūd also narrated to us, saying: My paternal uncle, Muhammad ibn al-Ashʿath, and ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn al-Nuʿmān narrated to us, saying: Ibn al-Asbahānī narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd Allah ibn Idrīs informed us, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Sālih, from Abū Saʿīd, who said: We asked, “O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord, Mighty and Majestic?” He replied, “Do you have any difficulty seeing the sun at midday when there are no clouds?” We said, “No.” He asked, “Do you have any difficulty seeing the moon on the night of the full moon when there are no clouds?” We said, “No.” He said, “You will have no difficulty in ⦗1009⦘ seeing Him, just as you have no difficulty seeing either of them.”
