595 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: ‘Abdah ibn ‘Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Husayn al-Ju‘fī narrated to us, from Zā’idah ibn Qudāmah, from Bayān, from Qays ibn Abī Hāzim, who said: Jarīr ibn ‘Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came out to us on the night of the full moon. He said: He looked at the moon and said, “You will indeed see your Lord—Glorified and Exalted is He—on the Day of Resurrection just as you see this moon, with none of you being denied the sight of Him.”
