593 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Sinān narrated to us, saying: Yazīd ibn Hārūn, Ya‘lā, and Muhammad—the two latter being the sons of ‘Ubayd al-Tanāfisī—narrated to us, from Ismā‘īl ibn Abī Khālid, from Qays ibn Abī Hāzim, from Jarīr ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Bajalī, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on the night of the full moon, and he said: “You will indeed see your Lord—Majestic is His Glory—just as you see this moon, without experiencing any difficulty in seeing Him. So if you are able to ensure that you are not kept from a prayer before sunrise and one before sunset.”
