Ismāīl said: Yazīd said: Someone who heard Aisha—may Allah be pleased with her—say this narrated to me: I heard the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—say, “They are the worst of my nation, and the best of my nation will kill them.”

She said, “There was nothing between me and them beyond what commonly exists between a woman and her husband’s relatives.”

Muhammad ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—said: May Allah be pleased with Ali ibn Abī Tālib and with Aisha, the Mother of the Believers. May He benefit us through our love for them both and our love for all the Companions—may Allah be pleased with them.
