579 — Abū Bakr Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī also narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Yahyā ibn Abd al-Karīm al-Azdī narrated to us: Alī ibn al-Hasan ibn Shaqīq narrated to us: I heard Abd Allah ibn al-Mubārak say, “We can recount the words of the Jews and Christians, but we cannot recount the words of the Jahmiyya.”
٥٧٩ - وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ: نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ: نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْمُبَارَكِ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّا لَنَحْكِي كَلَامَ الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى , وَلَا نَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ نَحْكِيَ كَلَامَ الْجَهْمِيَّةِ»
