571 — Abu al-Qāsim Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz al-Baghawī narrated to us: Ubayd Allah ibn Umar al-Qawārīrī narrated to us: Mudar al-Qārī narrated to me: Abd al-Wāhid ibn Zayd narrated to us: I heard al-Hasan say, “Had the worshippers known that they would not see their Lord Most High, their souls would have melted away in this world.”
٥٧١ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَزِيزِ الْبَغَوِيُّ قَالَ: نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُضَرُ الْقَارِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ: «لَوْ عَلِمَ الْعَابِدُونَ أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ تَعَالَى لَذَابَتْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا»
