569 — Al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Qutayba ibn Saīd and Abd al-Alā ibn ⦗972⦘ Hammād narrated to us; they both said: Al-Mutamir ibn Sulaymān narrated to us, from Humayd al-Tawīl, from Thābit, from al-Hasan ibn Alī, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: “The decree has been settled, the Pen has dried, and matters are brought to pass according to a Book written beforehand.”
