536 — Al-Firyābī informed us, saying: ʿAbd al-Aʿlā ibn Hammād narrated to us, saying: Hammād ibn Salama narrated to us, saying: Kulthūm ibn Jabr informed us, from Wahb ibn Munabbih, who said:

“I find in the Torah—or in the Book: ‘I am Allah. There is no deity but Me, the Creator of all creation. I created good and evil, and I created those through whose hands good comes about. Blessed is the one whom I created so that good might come about through his hands, and woe to the one whom I created so that evil might come about through his hands.’”
