509 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Malik ibn Shuayb ibn al-Layth ibn Sad narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah ibn Wahb narrated to me, saying: I heard al-Layth ibn Sad say concerning one who denies the divine decree, “He is not worthy of being visited during his illness; attendance at his funeral should not be encouraged, nor should his invitation be accepted.”
