491 — Al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Abd al-A‘lā ibn Hammād narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Ya‘lā ibn al-Hārith al-Muhāribī narrated to us, from Wā’il ibn Dāwūd, who said: I heard Ibrāhīm say, “The bane of every religion is disputation over divine decree.”
