490 — Al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Uthmān ibn Abī Shaybah narrated to us, saying: Abū Usāmah narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Mansūr, from Ibrāhīm, regarding His words: “You cannot lead anyone astray through it” [al-Sāffāt 37:162]. He said: “You cannot lead anyone astray except one for whom He has ordained and decreed that he will burn in Hellfire.”
٤٩٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ قَالَ: نا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: نا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: ﴿مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ﴾ [الصافات: ١٦٢] قَالَ: بِمُضِلِّينَ إِلَّا مَنْ قَدَّرَ لَهُ وَقَضَى لَهُ أَنْ يَصْلَى الْجَحِيمَ
