484 – Al-Firyābī also informed us, saying: Khalaf ibn Muhammad al-Wāsitī, known as Kurdūs, narrated to us, saying: Yaʿqūb ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Al-Zubayr ibn Khubayb narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, who said, “By Allah, the Qadariyya did not speak as Allah Most High spoke, nor as the angels spoke, nor as the prophets spoke, nor as the people of Paradise spoke, nor as the people of the Fire spoke, nor even as their brother Iblīs spoke.” He then mentioned the hadith.
٤٨٤ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ قَالَ: نا خَلَفُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ الْمَعْرُوفُ بِكُرْدُوسٍ قَالَ: نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: نا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ خُبَيْبٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ: «وَاللَّهِ مَا قَالَتِ الْقَدَرِيَّةُ كَمَا قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى , وَلَا كَمَا قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ، وَلَا كَمَا قَالَ النَّبِيُّونَ، وَلَا كَمَا قَالَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ، وَلَا كَمَا قَالَ أَهْلُ النَّارِ، وَلَا كَمَا قَالَ أَخُوهُمْ إِبْلِيسُ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ»
