472 — And al-Firyābī informed us, saying: Ubayd Allāh ibn Muādh narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, saying: Ibn Awn narrated to us, saying: “No people were more hateful to Muhammad ibn Sīrīn than those who introduced into this matter of divine decree the innovations they introduced.”
