465 — Al-Firyābī also informed us, saying: Ibrāhīm ibn Abd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Hushaym informed us, saying: Mansūr informed us, from al-Hasan, concerning the words of Allah Most High: “You cannot tempt anyone away from Him except one who is destined to burn in Hell” [al-Sāffāt: 163]. He explained: “You cannot lead anyone astray from Him ⦗884⦘ except one who is destined to burn in Hell—one whom Allah had already known would burn in Hell.”
٤٦٥ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ قَالَ: نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ: أنا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: أنا مَنْصُورٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿مَا أَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ بِفَاتِنِينَ إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ﴾ [الصافات: ١٦٣] يَقُولُ: «لَسْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ ⦗٨٨٤⦘ بِمُضِلِّينَ، إِلَّا مَنْ هُوَ صَالِ الْجَحِيمِ، مَنْ سَبَقَ لَهُ فِي عِلْمِ اللَّهِ أَنْ يَصْلَى الْجَحِيمَ»
