464 — Al-Firyābī also informed us, saying: Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Harawī narrated to us, saying: Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to us, saying: Khālid al-Hadhdhāʾ narrated to us from al-Hasan, who said: I asked him, “What do you say concerning the words of Allah Most High: ‘You cannot tempt anyone away from Him except one who is destined to burn in Hell’ [al-Sāffāt: 163]?” He replied: “Except one for whom it has been decreed that he shall burn in Hell.”
