461 — Al-Firyābī also informed us, saying: Amr ibn Uthmān narrated to us, saying: Baqiyyah ibn al-Walīd narrated to us from Thawr ibn Yazīd, from al-Hasan ibn Abī al-Hasan, who said: “The Pen has dried, the judgment has been rendered, and the divine decree is complete—with the Book established as true, the messengers vindicated, felicity allotted to whoever acts and fears Allah, wretchedness allotted to whoever does wrong and transgresses, Allah’s guardianship granted to the believers, and Allah’s disavowal ⦗882⦘ directed toward the polytheists.”
