43 — Abū Bakr ibn Abī Dāwūd narrated to us, saying: Yahyā ibn Hakīm narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Wahhāb ibn Abd al-Majīd narrated to us, saying: Ayyūb narrated to us, from Ibn Abī Mulayka, from Aisha, who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse:

“It is He who sent down the Book to you. In it are precise verses, which are the foundation of the Book” [Āl Imrān: 7], through His words, “But none will take heed except people of ⦗341⦘ understanding.”

He then said, “O Aisha, when you see those who dispute concerning it, they are the ones to whom Allah Most High referred, so beware of them.”
